All Saints Church
All Saints Church in Old Buckenham is hoping that this 4th July will not be remembered for who won the Ladies Final at Wimbledon or any great American Independence Day celebrations but that the lasting memories will be of its Midsummer Miscellany being staged on that day.

After the success of the village Christmas Eve service, where a number of local organisations come together in the church to both fundraise and display their wealth of talent, organisers thought it would be both fun and worthwhile to stage a summer version of this ever popular event hence the birth of ‘A Midsummer Miscellany’.

The village concert which will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday 4th July at All Saints Church, Old Buckenham will feature performances of music, poetry, words and song and then good BBQ food, all in aid of All Saints Church.

Children from the Old Buckenham Cubs and Beavers and Old Buckenham High School will be participating as will the Old Buckenham W.I. and the Hand Bells Group together with DGAS – the New Buckenham women’s drumming group amongst others. The concert will provide an opportunity to have fun, good food and celebrate the wealth and variety of talent in the village and surrounding area and all in a good cause.

Tickets priced at £5 for adults and £3 for children, which includes a meal from the BBQ and a soft drink, are now on sale at Old Buckenham Stores.
