In October 2011 Banham Community Centre reached the ripe old age of 21!  It was opened in 1990 by Princess Anne and they both still look good for their age!

To celebrate, we had a huge party for the village.  With Mr Buss playing on stage, most people kicked their heels well into the night.  The hog roast went down very well and the ‘21’ cup cakes were much admired as well as scoffed.

All sections of our community came, from 90yrs to 9 months and it was a wonderful family affair.  We can’t wait to do it all again – but don’t want to wait another 21 years so are thinking up good excuses.  Any ideas?

In December the community centre hosted the best Winter Fair ever, anywhere!  Santa Claus was overwhelmed by all the love and attention he got and the children enjoyed every moment.  The atmosphere was terrific, the food was scrummy, the stalls amazing and a great deal of fun was had.  The proceeds went to St Mary’s Church, Banham – over £1800 – a huge thank you to all who made it happen.

Don’t miss it this year!
