Breckland Flower and Garden Club

It is a group of ladies and gentelmen, who meet together once a month at;
OLD BUCKENHAM VILLAGE HALL, ABBEY ROAD, OLD BUCKENHAM .
(adjacent to the junior school.) off the village green.

We enjoy the shared interest and love of the garden, and all its therapy. we enjoy talks slides and demonstrations. on gardening, nature subjects, flower arranging, growing and cultivating plants and flowers.

The English are renown for their love of gardens, and some of our members and friends, invite us to share theirs, for coffee mornings, lunches, afternoon tea. suppers, and fund raising events.

Our members and guests also enjoy visits to gardens both large and small and places of interest around East Anglia, also Horticultural events. We mostly bring home another purchased plant, but were to put it ?

We exchange ideas and plants and interest in our hobbie as well combining a social gathering. and have some happy and social occasions, helping at local flower festivals, shows, fund raising for local charities.

We have members who take part in competitions, including Royal Norfolk Show. horticultural events. and a team of members have staged an exibit at Chelsea flower show in london, arranged flowers in Ely & Norwich Cathedrals,and various small churches chapels houses and venues in norfolk.and suffolk.
We havealso been invited too arrange flowers for members of the royal family on special occasions.

But our main objective is to enjoy our hobby of the garden and all its aspects together in a social and friendly atmosphere.

If you also enjoy the garden and would like a relaxing afternoon, join our group at one of the meetings, on the 2nd Thursday in the month at the village hall Old Buckenham. 2pm.
