Interested in Computer Games?
Want more interaction with humans while playing computer games? Stuck in your bedroom playing on your own? Had enough competing against AI’s? A new club has started at Old Buckenham Village Hall in the Memorial Room for avid fans of computer games. We have six computers networked together with a selection of games for LAN tournaments – come and join us and get to see who you are beating face to face!
Play in teams of three on Battlefield 2, all in and team battles on 40k Dawn of War, race against five opponents on Ford Racing 3 (manic but great fun!) or join in the league with FIFA 07. We are a friendly bunch, help and advice is given on games you haven’t played before and while we all want to win the emphasis is always on fun.
We also have a selection of board games and wargames boards along with a snack bar with drinks and a selection of eats, so there’s plenty to do while you wait for your next bout of fun on the computers.
Non gamers are welcome - feel free to use the club for meeting up with friends. Please note the club is for over 12s only.
We have two meetings per month alternating on Wednesday and Fridays (due to hall booking) this should change to the 2nd and 4th friday of the month from une onwards. meetings start at 7pm and finish at 9pm. Entrance to the Hall and use of the board games are free, use of the computers £3. All profits made will go towards new games/computer upkeep. All ages are welcome (over 12s only).

*Note some of the games have a suggested age of 16+ (this is the age suggested by the manufacturer, not to be confused with legal restrictions of 15 and 18) players as young as 12 should be fine. If in doubt and you'd like to see the games in action before hand please let me know.
